Husky E-Motion – Clean innovation in the Oberhof ski hall

The Husky E-Motion was in use at the LOTTO Thüringen Skisport-HALLE Oberhof for a month. Once a week, the 1,754-meter-long track was groomed with the fully electric snow groomer. The result: an even, cleanly compacted snow profile ideal training conditions for the national teams from around the world.

Consistent results in practical use
The Husky E-Motion demonstrated its strengths inside the hall: quiet operation, zero-emission performance, and a consistently smooth finish. Operations manager Heiko Schacht and the operator team particularly praised the excellent snow compaction and the quality of the groomed profile. The demonstration clearly showed how seamlessly the Husky E-Motion integrates into the hall’s operational processes.

The test phase showed that sustainable technology and efficient operation complement each other perfectly. The compact design, precise control, and excellent all-round visibility made the work easier especially within the unique spatial constraints of an indoor ski hall.
