Power Winch - Extreme Terrain. Total Control.
Steep slopes, changing snow conditions and complex terrain profiles challenge operators every day. And wherever maintaining the intended line becomes difficult, consistent slope quality starts with staying in command.
Staying on Line
Traditional winch systems provide valuable support in difficult terrain. But when slopes become more complex, maintaining the intended line with precison can still be challenging.
Developed to give operators greater control, the new Power Winch helps reduce lateral drift and keeps the vehicle precisely on line with its independently controlled boom. The result is more confidence behind the controls, less need for corrections, and a more consistent finish on the slope.
At Drei Zinnen, the benefits became apparent right from the first season.
“At Drei Zinnen, many of our steep slopes feature tight turns and winding sections. On one of our routes for less experienced skiers, multiple S-curves previously required us to reposition the cable or work with pulleys during grooming. With the Power Winch, we can connect once at the top and groom the entire section in a single pass. The difference was noticeable immediately. The machine stays on line, the slope finish is more consistent, and we save valuable time, especially in spring conditions. For the terrain we have here, the technology has become almost a must-have.”
Franz Innerkofler, Head of Grooming Operations, Drei Zinnen
For operators, staying in control means more than keeping the machine on track. It means being able to focus on delivering the best possible result, even when terrain and conditions are working against them.
Quality that convinces
For many ski resorts, choosing the right machine is ultimately about more than performance figures. It is about having confidence in a solution that supports operators, fits the terrain and helps maintain the grooming quality guests expect throughout the season.
That was a decisive factor for Dantercepies when selecting its next machine.
“For us, slope quality comes first. On our demanding terrain, we need a solution we can rely on every day. The combination of the Leitwolf and the Power Winch impressed us as a complete system and is perfectly matched to our requirements. We expect it to help us maintain the high grooming standards our guests have come to expect, and even improve them further. At the same time, features such as the parallel offset tiller and the central seating position make everyday work more comfortable for our operators. It is this combination of performance, grooming quality and operator comfort that ultimately convinced us.”

Control in Every Detail
Greater control is not achieved through a single innovation. It is the result of continuous refinement across the entire machine.
From the Power Winch to the latest Master Blade and next-generation closed-profile steel tracks, every improvement serves the same purpose: helping operators work with confidence, maintain control and achieve a consistently high-quality finish.
Because at the end of the day, control is not about the machine itself. It is about giving operators the confidence to tackle demanding terrain and deliver the slope quality guests expect, every single day.
