Leitwolf E‑Motion: the high‑performance electric snow groomer

Leitwolf E‑Motion was developed to address a clear market need: bringing electric drive technology to the most demanding snow grooming applications, while preserving the on‑slope behavior, reliability and operating capability of a proven platform. Leitwolf E‑Motion represents the electric evolution of the Leitwolf.

Performance is at least equivalent to that of a conventional model, with operating speeds of up to 20 km/h, an operating range of approximately five hours under real working conditions, and fast charging from 10 to 80% in around one hour. This enables flexible shift planning and high operational continuity.

Leitwolf E‑Motion stands out as a fully‑fledged electric snow groomer, maintaining a 4.5‑meter working width – the widest currently available – a key factor for productivity and finish quality on large slopes.

The project has now entered the deployment phase: Compagnie des Alpes is acting as the initial customer. Three vehicles are scheduled to be put into operation in the group’s ski resorts by the end of the year.

Currently in an advanced testing phase, Leitwolf E‑Motion has been designed for daily operation in the most demanding segment of snow grooming, marking a concrete step in the technological evolution of snow groomers.
