SGNA Spring Shows 2026
Connecting with the Industry: A Spring on the Road Across North America
While the 2025-26 winter may be over, the work of preparing for the next season is already underway. Spring and early summer are a critical time for ski areas to reflect on the past winter, plan capital investments, evaluate equipment, train teams, and prepare for the season ahead. That's what makes trade show season so valuable.
This spring, the Prinoth Snow Grooming team traveled across North America, attending national and regional ski industry conferences and connecting with ski area owners, managers, operators, and industry partners. Every event reinforced the strength and passion of our mountain community while providing opportunities to share ideas, discuss challenges, and explore solutions for the future.
A highlight of the season was at National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) National Convention, where US Alpine Skier, Olympian Paula Moltzan joined the Prinoth team. As an elite athlete, she understands that exceptional skiing starts with exceptional grooming and that consistent, high-quality slope surfaces make all the difference.
The Cross Country Ski Areas Association conference featured a live Husky demonstration, giving attendees the opportunity to experience the machine's performance and versatility firsthand.
Across every event, Prinoth Connect was a major focus. As weather patterns become less predictable, ski areas are increasingly understanding that snow is an asset to be managed. Accurate, real-time snow depth data helps operators optimize snowmaking and grooming, improve efficiency, and make every flake count. For more information about Snow Measurement, click here.
Trade show season is about far more than showcasing equipment; it's an opportunity to listen, strengthen partnerships, and better understand the priorities shaping the ski industry. This spring, conversations centered on improving operational efficiency, adopting new technology, enhancing the guest experience, and supporting the growing role of women in the industry. Across North America, ski areas shared a common goal: making smart investments today that will strengthen operations for years to come.
The relationships fostered during these events continue long after the exhibits close. The conversations that happen in the spring help shape equipment decisions, training plans, and operational strategies leading into winter, ensuring ski areas are ready when the first snow falls. We appreciate every conversation and look forward to seeing you on the mountain!
